Testimonials

“Wow, where do i begin. I started my journey with Parkside thru an internet search and reached out. What I received was the most heart felt person on the other side of the screen who answered all my questions and my fears about moving my mom into assisted living. As a Latin son, our culture is not use to putting our parents in these facilities, because of the taboo that is felt by all the bad nursing home disaster stories, which get tied into assisted living. My mom gave me a lot of push back and even got upset with me because she felt I was just tossing her to the side because I did not want to deal with her. Whitney at Parkside held my head and guided me through one of the best decisions/experiences so my mom could feel as comfortable and as present as possible. When we toured Parkside, Whitney spoke to my mom directly and made her feel part of the conversation we were having about her and this HUGE decision we were about to embark on. Well not to make this review any longer, my mom has fallen in love with Parkside but more than anything she has fallen in love with the staff at Parkside. James, Angela, Diamond and others that I cannot remember there names at the moment have treated and continue ti treat my mom with the dignity and the respect she deserves. There are not enough words to Thank the Parkside staff, there facility but most of all Whitney. She is a beautiful human and I recommend anyone thinking of making this decision, Parkside is the way to go.”

“In May, I had to move my mother out of her current assisted living facility and I checked several facilities. I was sure that I’d never find a facility that would give the care I felt she deserved…[but] I was so wrong! They believe that every resident deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to see my mom laugh again, to see the entire staff interact with her as if she is part of their family. I highly recommend; you will never find a better facility.”
